What did you like about the class?
There are many things that I enjoyed about the class - I, for the most part, enjoyed everything. I liked the way we took our notes, did activities, did grades, watched videos... it was a wonderful structure for this course - for psychology.
What was your favorite activity or project?
I loved doing all the activities; they were all fun and they helped me to understand psychology terms. One of my favorites is the Track of Emotions, when we were able to construct a CD of songs that reflect Plutchik's Wheel of Emotions. I also thought that the Inside Out project was fun (and watching the movie is always splendid:) The goggles activity about perception was also entertaining...and challenging...but for the most part amusing.
What did you like about the class?
A class cannot be perfect, so there's not much change I could offer to say because the way that Mrs. Halfen pursued this course is honestly a good fit.
However, for the abnormal psychology unit, it was a little bit iffy because receiving that much information from the internet was kind of eh...Kind of hoped we could have gone a little over with Mrs. Halfen, but it's okay I still learned a lot.
Also, the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. defense mechanisms were somewhat challenging, especially the Monica questions - well mainly the Monica questions.
What do you think I should leave out next year?
Everything did seem to aid or lead to the benefits of the AP, so nothing I suppose :)
Do you have any suggestions or ideas for things I could do next year in AP Psych?
Possibly change the way to do the abnormal psychology unit..maybe?
Did you like quizzing each unit and only having 1-2 major grade exams?
Yes, I thought it was different and unique. It also did not excessively require an abundance amount of constant attention, and it also allowed a balance in our grades.
What is your advice for students taking AP Psych in the future?
Always do your vocab - it only benefits you.

bye psychology ):
